.touch the S K Y.

So every week, my art teacher assigns two "sketchbook" pictures from the advanced art class. One of them has to fit with a theme, and the other can be of whatever we want (as long as it's school appropriate); we call those open sketchbooks.

This week, our theme is Touch the Sky. Which is one she had assigned a few years ago too, so she told me that she wanted to see something else.
"How else can you touch the sky?" is what she asked.

And then this happened.
Originally, yes, it was just a sketch in my sketchbook, but as soon as I finished the body (which is like...the best body I've ever drawn), I stared at it and knew that traditionally coloring that would kill it. > n > So I scanned it in. c:
